The Telehealth 2001 Awards
for promoting excellence in the Telehealth Industry
The first annual Telehealth Awards
were jointly created jointly by the Association of Telehealth Service
Providers (ATSP) and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society
(HIMSS) to recognize and honor those organizations that are actively
working to promote excellence in the telehealth industry.
Awards were given in two categories:
Healthcare Providers and Vendor Organizations.

- improvement in delivery efficiency

- ability to integrate their product or service into existing systems
- ease of use of the product or service
- customer service
